Salvia Divinorum Vortex
A little background: I have been smoking pot for about 20 years, I have used LSD and magic mushrooms many times, all good trips. I have been on a quest for answers to our crazy existence ever since that first dose of LSD way back in high school.
Since then I have tried to learn as much as possible about Astral projection, UFO'S, psychic abilities and all things related. Along the way I came across Salvia Divinorum and learned how the shaman of Mexico have been using it for thousands of years to communicate with the spirit world. I was intrigued and wanted to try it. The day finally came when I decided to do it. It was a spontaneous decision. I was pumping gas across the street from my local head shop when I said today is the day. When I went in to buy it the guy said that most people who buy it smoke it once and never do it again because it was so crazy. Nevertheless I was determined to do it. Got home, tried to relax and think about what was about to happen. I was trying not to have any expectations and just have a positive experience. I asked for help and guidance from any spirit that was more advanced than myself. I loaded the bong, sat on the couch and took a huge hit of Salvia 10x. This was my first mistake, not having someone to watch me. You should always have someone there to keep an eye on what's going on. As I take the hit I lay back on the couch, and the last thing I remember is that I have never felt my heart beat like that. I black out for 1 to 2 minutes? Here is the hard part, putting into words what is happening. The best way to explain it is like one of those fireworks that you nail to a pole and then light and it spins in a circular motion, kind of looks like a spiral galaxy. That’s what it felt like, except it was my consciousness that was spinning. It's very hard to explain. It was very intense. I felt like I was on the edge of this reality. That's when the women’s voice comes into my head and tells me to relax and that it will be over very soon. I perceive her to be myself from a past life. This is my first experience with the 3rd man syndrome, which refers to the reported situations where an unseen presence provided comfort or support during traumatic experiences. Here is were I made my second mistake, not doing this in a dark room. Being in a dark room is critical for a positive experience. The room I was in was lit up with sun light. I had the air on, which was a problem because it was moving around a dream catcher that was on the wall. With the light and things moving around, it made it feel like my eyes were here seeing the room, but my mind was on the other side. Very bizarre and hard to put into words, but anyone who has tried Salvia would kinda understand. After 7 to 10 minutes I kind of come to. I am cold because I am drenched in sweat. It takes about 30 minutes for me to really get my senses back. I eat something and that really helps. I have smoked Salvia 10 to 15 times since and every time I come back laughing uncontrollably. I always do it in a dark room, and make sure someone is there to watch me. I don't smoke out of a bong , unless I'm looking for a very intense experience. Otherwise I smoke out of a pipe. Salvia is nothing like marijuana. It is not a social drug. Salvia is a tool for personal growth and self-discovery. It should be given much respect. It is like a 7 to 10 minute acid trip, but it's different than LSD. I like Salvia because of the short duration of the experience. I don't have 7 or 8 hours to trip on acid. Just follow some basic rules and have positive state of mind and Salvia can be a great tool.
