Cali's Salvia entheogenic experience:
Meeting "Salvie"

Cali's Salvia Divinorum entheogenic experience

Trip duration: 5 minutes

Dose: small amount 10x

Intensity: 5

Location: bedroom

Highlights:

Salvia was recommended to me by a coworker who knew that I had experienced LSD and Mushrooms. He just introduced it by saying "you'll like it. Go buy it and smoke it in a quiet room by yourself."

I had no knowledge of what would happen. I sat on my bed, smoked a small amount out of a pipe and began hallucinating within 10 seconds.

I saw Mexican art that consisted of serpents and human figures dancing in a pattern. I later read that Salvia originates from Mexico but I had no knowledge of this at the time.

I then began laughing harder than I ever have in my life and felt like I was being tickled. Meanwhile, a gentle and maternal voice spoke to me and said "I'm Salvie."

In other words, I hallucinated that the plant took on a gentle form and told me her nickname.

The experience was soon over and I have tried it many times since then. Many of my newer experiences seem darker and involve a 1950s nuclear family who come to guide me to another dimension.

What stuck with me about this first experience is that it was as though the plant was being very kind and motherly to me because it was my first time.
