Ok, now take a look at the molecular structure below. If you are like me and spent your chemistry classes hitting on the cutie sitting behind, this graphic won't tell you much, but basically this graphic shows that Salvinorin A is composed of 59 atoms, while LSD, for example, has 49.
 Can you guess where I'm going with this?... See, if LSD, considered a highly complex substance and the most powerful psychedelic known, has 49 atoms and its effects are hardly explained (even though in nature we can find similar chemicals, like in the Ipomea Violacea, for example), imagine how difficult it is to deeply know and understand this chemical, having 10 more atoms than LSD and being totally unrelated to any other psychedelic chemical known to date.
The conclusion I've come to after years of using Salvia and being unable to fully understand why I always experience such amazing feelings and visions (which never seem of my own creation) is that, as life on this planet evolved, the Salvia Divinorum plant was somehow able to produce this psychedelic substance, we humans are unable to comprehend why or how, but we do have the knowledge to utilize this substance... it is a gift from nature, and we should experience it as such.
